0 Bring it On Super Moon, It's Only After Dark

I just wanted to share some spectacular photos of the moon I took...enjoy!

My friend Lori and I took this on Alki Beach

This was a few nights ago when it was harmless, by tonight though, watchout!

* Also known as the perigee moon, this will be the biggest one of the year, this event occurs when a full moon lines up with the Earth and the sun at a specific point it it's orbit, called the lunar perigee. That's the point at which the moon is nearest to the Earth, as it traces its, elliptical path around our planet. Since it's close to us, it will appear 14 % larger and 30% bigger, hence the term ' Supermoon '

stay safe, fellow stargazers!
